We Have a Guy is a Connecticut LLC that connects local families with local students for odd jobs. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

When you create an account, we collect your name, mobile phone number, and email address. Students also provide their date of birth, school, graduation year, hometown, and a short bio. We also store the jobs you post or apply to.

We use your information to run the service: to create and secure your account, to post and match jobs, and to contact you about activity on your account.

If you opt in at signup, we send you text messages about your jobs only: confirmations, acceptance updates, scheduling, and status updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We may share data with our SMS provider (Twilio) solely to deliver messages you've requested.

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the platform — including our SMS provider (Twilio) to deliver the messages you have requested — and only as needed to provide the service.

Some students on the service are under 18. For those users we collect the same account information as other students, including date of birth, and we use it the same way: to run the service and to apply age rules to certain job categories. The service is not for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. To access or delete your account information, contact us at the email below.
